About Us:
The Carlisle Bison Band originated around the same time that the school opened back in 1873. We have shown our pride for Carlisle for over a century, and we will continue to do so. We spend months preparing our marching shows and smoothing out any rough edges, that way we can represent how great our town is at our competitions. We labor over our music during concert season that way we can entertain everyone that watches our performances and to do well at our concert assessment. Our band has been 'The Pride of the Prairie' for a very long time, and we strive to carry on that legacy.

Field Trips:
The Bison Band was honored to be invited to join the Razorback Band during their practice and to attend their game. It gave us a great idea about what happens in college marching band and all the hard work they put in for their show. (Sept. 19, 2015)
As a special reward for working so hard, Mr. Head and the Bison Band Boosters worked hard to be able to take our band to the Memphis Zoo in May 2016. The band kids had fun with their chaperones and all of their friends. (May 14, 2016)
